FOX WEST YMCA • GREENVILLE ELEMENTARY
These Summer School Age programs are licensed and Youngstar rated. The School Age Summer Program is an exciting and fun-filled program for children ages 6-12 years old. Program participants will learn the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility through various activities including field trips, arts & crafts, science experiments, team building and exploring the outdoors!

Fox West YMCA: June 7–August 20, 2021
Greenville Elementary: June 7–August 20, 2021

Care will be offered for children enrolled at both locations from August 23-25, but the program will only be held at Fox West YMCA. Spots will be limited! Please register under the Fox West YMCA location for that week.
Fox West YMCA - Full-time Care: For children who need care 4-5 days per week for the 11-week program. One week, or 5 days, of vacation will be allowed. These need to be submitted by May 2.
Greenville Elementary: For children who need care 2-5 days per week for the 11-week program.
Please note: There will not be transportation provided from Greenville Elementary to the Fox West YMCA for summer school students in Hortonville Area School District.
Half-Day Considerations:
Half days are ONLY available if your child is in summer school. A half day is considered 5 hours or less and is not available on field trip days. Those who attend more than 5 hours will be charged the full day rate.
Transfers:
If your child is enrolled at the Fox West YMCA site, parents can sign them up for swim lesson, etc.; and our teachers will transfer the child to their class only if the class/lesson is held at the Fox West YMCA location. If a class is scheduled at the same time as a field trip, children are required to go on the field trip and miss their class.
Activities:
Weekly program activities will include Swim Days, Field Trips (T-shirt required), Park Days, STEAM Days, and more!
Field Trips:
Fox West YMCA and Greenville Elementary field trips will be held every other Wednesday in the summer. Wednesday’s not included are the first and last two weeks of camp.
A variety of fun and exciting field trips may include: Lambeau Field, Ledgeview Caves, Bowling, Badger Sports Park, Bay Beach, Mulberry Farm and more! Once determined, specific field trip information will be available on this page.
A field trip shirt is required to be purchased if your child attends care on Wednesday’s. Field trip shirts from summer 2020 can be worn in place of
purchasing a shirt in 2021.
