YMCA ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

When our doors closed this spring, our work beyond our walls intensified. We found more ways to support our members, our neighbors and our community.
And we didn’t do it alone.

Our Y’s ability to adapt so quickly relied on community partnerships and generous members and donors like you. Though some businesses had to temporarily close, we pivoted our resources and focused our efforts to best support our community’s most pressing needs. Now as we continue to adapt, our Y is helping our neighbors and members in ways you might not expect.

We have provided critical care to children of essential workers, opened camp safely to give kids of all ages a memorable summer, ensured students have a supervised space and educational support to assist with virtual learning, given youth the opportunity to have some normalcy and participate in sports leagues, dance and swim lessons, helped health seekers resume their wellness routine either in-person at Y facilities or virtually in their homes, reduced social isolation in seniors with wellness checks and expanded programming, plus so much more.

While the pandemic has presented the Y with significant challenges, we are still committed to serving the Fox Cities and ensure that the Y is available for all…
YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW… FOREVER.
Forever for everyone. Donate today for a better us!

The YMCA of the Fox Cities is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and your gift is tax-deductible. 100% of every dollar raised supports our Y and our community.

Learn how we are making a difference in our community!

"When Gov. Evers made the March 13, 2020 proclamation to close Wisconsin schools, my husband and I were concerned about the impact it would have for our child care. As essential workers (my husband in dairy processing and myself an RN), we knew it would be extremely challenging to meet the needs of our profession while caring for our 3 young children at home. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have our children cared for by the Appleton YMCA.

The leadership at the YMCA moved quickly to ensure child care services would remain available, and most importantly SAFE. I felt confident and comfortable with the changes that were made as they were well aligned with the changes my own healthcare company was making during those times. Our family could not have performed our duties in the roles we serve for our community without the help of the Appleton, YMCA. One of the greatest and most commendable aspects of the changes the YMCA implemented is that at no point did our children feel uncomfortable or take note of the pandemic that was happening around them. They could continue to be fun-loving, happy children with little change to their everyday routines."
