LIFE AT CAMP

There is so much to do at Camp Nan A Bo Sho! No matter what program you have chosen, all campers have the opportunity to participate in many traditional camp activities including:

Snapshot of Programs

Traditional Camp Programs
From three days to two weeks, there is sure to be something just right for you! Three and four-day sessions are great for first-time campers. Six-day sessions include activities and field trips for all interests and abilities. Thirteen-day programs are designed for the more experienced camper and include off-site field trips, wilderness canoeing, and backpacking trips, and leadership opportunities.

Family Programs
If your child is not ready for a week of camp by themselves or you are looking for something fun to do with the whole family, Camp Nan A Bo Sho has a family camp program for you. We offer both weekend and week-long family camp options. Family programs are a great chance for you to relax and connect without the distractions of everyday life. Camp staff will lead you in fun camp activities, and meals are prepared and served to you in our dining hall - your only responsibility is to have fun!

Leadership Programs
Designed for teens who are looking to develop their leadership skills, camp leadership programs offer both a learning experience and camp fun! Spend your days learning new skills; role-modeling, public speaking, behavior management, group team building and so much more. Then take the skills you have learned and work with the younger campers, leading them in traditional camp activities.

Wilderness Trips
Our wilderness trips are adventure, fun, excitement and freedom rolled into two awesome weeks! Explore the beauty of the Northwoods of WI, MI and MN not many people get to see, guided by our specially trained trip leaders. We offer two types of wilderness trips: canoeing and backpacking, each with their own unique progression (Levels 1-4). All specialty trip supplies are provided, we just need you to join us!

Cabin groups can collectively agree to take advantage of their surroundings and spend some nights sleeping in different locations around camp.

Dining Hall
All meals at Camp Nan A Bo Sho are served in our dining hall. Meals are all you care to eat, kid-friendly and healthy. A cereal option is available at breakfast and a salad bar is available at most lunch and dinners.
